FAQ Use of cell phones in the train

How are you raising awareness for manners in regards to the use of cell phones inside the train?

The manners we request from passengers regarding cell phones has been unified by 17 railway companies, including us, operating in the Kanto Area.

＜Requests regarding manners when using your cell phone＞

■We make audio announcements and place posters and stickers inside of trains to raise awareness for manners.

■When using your cell phone inside the train, set it to silent mode and refrain from talking on the phone.

Also, turn off your cell phone when you are near the priority seats when the train is crowded.
